REDUX campaigns for IL2 Cliffs of Dover
REDUX campaigns with research and mission design by Heinkill and scripting by Gabuzomeu and Bolox, take your Cliffs of Dover campaigning to a new level, with individual pilot kill score, random event scripting in missions, promotions and awarding of historical medals. These campaigns are created for use with the Team Fusion Mod for Cliffs of Dover. Click on the campaign title to go to the ATAG website and download.
RAF REDUX: we completely reworked the original Cliffs of Dover RAF storyline. The campaign is now inspired by the career of real life BoB pilot ‘Red’ McColpin, one of the first US airmen to serve with the RAF in WWII.
The campaign now takes place during the ‘critical phase’ of the Battle of Britain – August to September 1940, when the RAF was threatened with collapse, and the fear of invasion stalked Britain. You will start the campaign flying Hawker Hurricanes out of Tangmere as a pilot 607 Squadron, just as ‘Red’ McColpin did.
After several missions with 607 Squadron, you will be transferred to 602 Squadron flying Spitfires from Manston airfield. This simulates McColpin’s transfer to Spitfires as his RAF career progressed. Manston was a front line airfield under constant attack at this time, and 602 Squadron was frequently engaged in combat with the Luftwaffe.
Finally, just as McColpin did (though admittedly over a longer timeframe!), you will progress from a rookie pilot, to a flight lieutenant, to finally command 602 Squadron for the epic dogfights of Battle of Britain day, Sept 15.

LW REDUX: Using REDUX campaign scripting by Bolox and Gabuzomeu, we have revisited the stock CoD Luftwaffe campaign and completely reshaped it to craft an Operation Sealion invasion campaign flown from the Luftwaffe perspective.
You will fly as a pilot in the rebellious unit Stab I (Jabo), I/JG53 – a unit of battle hardened Luftwaffe veterans who not only took on the British, but also the Nazi high command during their stay in France in 1940. In this scenario hand picked pilots, including yourselves, have been selected to form a Bf109E4b Jabo, or ground attack unit, to support ground forces in the invasion.

Murmansk: In five weeks during late 1941 two squadrons of RAF Hurricanes arrived at Murmansk in Russia to deliver and train Russian pilots in the new lend-lease Hurricane. The remit of 151 Wing was to provide both training and operational support to the Soviet Army. The Hawker Hurricane was not the most modern aircraft by late 1941, having been designed in the 1930s with priority given to ease of maintenance and operation in arduous field conditions, but it proved well suited to conditions around Murmansk. Furthermore, the British, Australian and New Zealand ground crew and aircrew were mostly veterans of the Battle of France and Battle of Britain. They were highly experienced. They brought with them a modern radio and radar air-control system.
Standing against them were the Bf109Es, 110s, Ju88s and Stukas of Luftflotte 5.
This mission pack and campaign focuses on that action-packed five weeks.

MALTA: This package contains two Battle for Malta campaigns, one for the Axis (G.50 and Bf109E/4N) and one for the RAF (Hurricane I and Spitfire Ia 100 Oct). It also contains a single mission pack of 30 missions, with a separate briefing and mission objectives for every flyable aircraft in the mission.
BACKGROUND
On June 10 1940 Italian leader Mussolini declared war on Britain and within hours the first bombs fell on Malta.
It was to become the most bombed location in history. More bombs fell on Malta during the seige, than fell on London during the entire Blitz.
Opposing Italy's Regia Aeronautica airforce, were a handful of RAF Gladiators. Within a couple of weeks, the first Hurricanes arrived, 'hijacked' by the Island's air commander on their way to Egypt. Within months, the Luftwaffe appeared over the island too.
The campaigns start with the arrival of the first two Hurricanes on the island. The first ten missions cover the Italian attacks. The next ten cover the arrival of the Luftwaffe. The final ten missions are based the dramatic convoy in which HMS Breconshire dashed to resupply Malta, against all odds.
All missions are based on historical records.

Special Operations Executive Level: Expert. 11 single missions focused on the air operations supporting the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) in early WWII. You have been seconded to the newly formed Special Operations Executive (SOE) of the British Armed Forces. You have been chosen for this assignment because of your ability to pilot any and all aircraft types, from single to twin engine, both RAF and captured Luftwaffe aircraft.
The commanding officer of SOE, Hugh Dalton, has been assured by Air Chief Marshall Hugh Dowding that if it has wings, you can fly it. Now it is your duty to prove him right. You will be based at RAF Southend; a former Royal Air Force station. The airfield is perhaps the most secret airfield in the whole of Britain. It is home to Special Duties Squadrons, No. 138, which drops agents and their supplies into occupied Europe, and No. 161, which specialises in personnel delivery and retrieval by landing in occupied Europe. Due to your special profile, you will fly for either squadron, as needed.
Most of your missions will be conducted at dusk, dawn, or at night, at low level, in poor visibility. You will operate mostly alone, and often behind enemy lines. Success will depend on your ability to fly, navigate by map and compass, and recognise your targets from the air based on scant intel.
Good luck out there! The partisans and freedom fighters of occupied Europe depend on you.
